We’ve just partnered with Infosysta to bring new Jira reporting and visualization capabilities to users working remotely, and you’re gonna love it (if we do say so ourselves).
Infosysta is an Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner whose apps are designed to extend Jira’s collaborative capabilities and enhance the Atlassian user experience. Their Mobile for Jira app allows Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Jira Work Management teams to interact with their Jira instances on their mobile devices. Users can view, edit, and transition issues, stay up to date with instant push notifications, and get fast access to their Jira dashboards on the go. It has more features and customizations than the native Atlassian mobile app and, importantly, supports 3rd party app dashboard gadgets (which the native app doesn’t).
This is how we’ve been able to integrate Mobile for Jira with our flagship app, Custom Charts for Jira, and make Custom Charts’ expanded Jira reporting and data visualization options available to mobile users. The integration will allow people working remotely to create much more dynamic, engaging, and targeted reports and dashboards than they can with native Jira, directly in the app.
We’ve also integrated Custom Charts for Jira’s sister app, Custom Jira Charts for Confluence, with Infosysta’s JSMobile. This app gives the customer/end user access to the portal in Jira Service Management (JSM) on their mobile devices so that they can create and track requests (which there’s currently no native Jira functionality for). The JSMobile/Custom Charts integration lets customers view Jira reports and charts generated on a Confluence page linked to their JSM portal. In other words, customers will be able to access the portal on their phones and tablets and see customized Jira reports and charts right there in the app. It means that JSM teams can offer their customers more transparency, by showing them how their requests are being dealt with.
Our Head of Partnerships, Jamale Harris, says, “To be honest, with so many people now working from home, this integration with Infosysta just had to happen. People need access to Jira on their phones and tablets, but to use Jira properly, they need reports and dashboards. Sure, there are the native reports and dashboards. But these don’t offer nearly as many options. Custom Charts will empower users working remotely to generate beautiful and customized Jira dashboards that don’t take an age or a data science degree to build.”
Mohamad Alhajj, Chief Operations Officer at Infosysta, adds, “Usage of Jira dashboards is really high among our customers because they want to be able to follow up on things quickly while on the move, without going back to their laptops. With that in mind, we partnered with Old Street Solutions to enable our customers to get the benefits of Custom Charts in our mobile apps. Custom Charts is even better than the classic Jira dashboard in that it’s got an improved user interface and theming, and is easily configurable by non-technical people in many different ways.”

Chris founded three successful startups in Thailand: one was a Scuba Diving School/ Eco-Tourism company dedicated to saving turtles. Once he’d saved enough turtles, he moved back to the UK to pursue his dreams in software.
It was while working for the Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner Clearvision that Chris met Jacek. The two decided there was a gap in the market for easier-to-use Atlassian tools for Jira and Confluence users who don’t have a clue how to code (of which there are many).
